COM.30450 IN POINT OF CARE TESTING

Hello POCC's.
I am just curious as to how your facility satisfies COM.30450 for NEW REAGENT LOT/SHIPMENT CONFIRMATION OF ACCEPTABILITY.
Do you always run old lot again new lot all the time? In our facility, we run QC on all new lot/new shipment and check it against the previous results done on the old lot.
Any insight is appreciated. Thank you so much!

Hello Donna,
We do the same thing as you but I have a QC sheet that I fill out with every new shipment with a table showing the old shipment/lot number with the new shipment/Lot = Lot number.
If you want to see my template more than willing to share it.

We test the new shipment against the current shipment for both epoc and Hemochron ACT. We have a template that will calculate everything out and have a procedure to follow. I can share templates as well. :)
