iSTAT chemistry cartridge IQCP

I'm a fairly new POCC and up to this point all of my tests have been waived. Due to the Abbott mess I will have to change 2 locations to the moderate complexity iSTAT cartridges (I'm thinking CG8 and EG6). I've never written an IQCP before. Would anyone be willing to share theirs just so I have a bit of a road map? I know that I will have to individualize anything to my locations specific environment/Risk Assesment, etc, but just seeing something would help. The only IQCPs our main lab has are for H Pylori and Fecal Leucocytes, so it isn't really the same.

Thank you!

Could I also get a copy of the IQCP? Going through revalidation so it would be very helpful.

Thanks

Jill,

Would you like a copy of our IQCP? We do not do CG8 and EG6 but you can adjust.

Sherri,

I would love a copy also. I have an inspection coming up this year so I’m trying to give my procedures a make-over!

Hi,

I would love to have a copy of IQCP. We have chem8+,Troponin,creatinine and PT/INR.  We are also working on validation of EC8+. Anyone has any helpful tips for EC8+ validation? Our NICU will use this test for I-stat.

My email is Rina.Patel@Beaumont.org

Thanks,

You do not need an IQCP for creatinine, it is waived.

I would also like a copy of your IQCP please, thanks

esellers@cchospital.net

iSTAT Creat is waived only when performed from Li Heparin samples, the first person that says they did it from a regular syringe makes it mod-complex.  We treat all samples/users as mod-complex to avoid this.

I am looking  for anyone to share their  Istat IQCP EG6+

Thanks,

I am also adding EG6's and would be interested in IQCP. Thank you.
