Are you bringing in both cartridges to your facility? I’m interested in bringing both cartridges also and was wondering what the validation process is. Thanks

Yes, my intentions are to bring both cartridges on, it's at an Urgent Care facility, 30 miles away from the hospital. I will run precision, linearity and patient comparisons, they are not interested in the blood gas portion, so that will not be validated or reported. Controls will be run every day of patient testing.
That's my plan anyway!
I found this helpful. According to this guide provided by Abbott, if you have already validated an analyte on the istat meter, it does not need to be validated again if the same analyte is on another cartridge.
so what I did was treat the new cartridge like a new lot. ran qc and patient correlation.
