Are there alternatives for Troponin testing?

Since Abbott is recommending we find alternative testing methods, my facility wants to leave Abbott completely. But does anyone know of another device that performs Troponin or ACT testing?

I'm not aware of any device that can do both. However, for ACT you can use the IL Signature Elite Hemochron, or the Medtronic ACT+. The Quidel Triage does Troponin testing.

I heard about the Hemochron but I never knew Quidel had anything for cardiac markers. Have you used it before?

We are using the device now, only for D-dimer and urine drug screen. It also has a cardiac panel, including Troponin. We have Troponin on the i-STAT, and aren't looking to change right now since we're more concerned with replacing the recalled cartridges first. So I am not sure how it does, just that it's available.

Thanks for the info.
