Does anyone have any experience with the True Metrix Pro Glucose Meter?  Any pros and cons would be greatly appreciated.

We have these in the non-hospital clinics.

I've heard no issues with them.

We use them for all of our ambulatory clinics and have no issues. The controls are good for 3 months once opened and the strips are good for 4 months once opened. No code chips with the strips so that is a plus.

Since they are used on multiple patients they MUST be cleaned in between each patient and per the manufacturer they have only tested Super Sani wipes for this. Anything else is not approved. This is a bit of a drawback since I have staff who are allergic to this wipe (the fumes) so they cannot clean them. They have others in the clinic clean the meter for them.
