Good afternoon everyone,
Is anyone's facility using or know of a waived Beta hydroxybutyrate device available in the US?
Thank you!

Abbott Freestyle Precision Pro also does Beta hydroxybutyrate (ketone). It's a different strip from the glucose. There is also a meter by StanBio that does bhb called STAT site.
Thanks Kathleen!
We installed the Abbott Freestyle meters for Beta hydroxy last summer. We have them interfaced through our QML using the ADC. We started out with the Unipoc software but that meant we would have to update operators in 2 softwares which no one wants lol. Telcor had the ADC so we changed to that.
The Abbott meter was the only one that had any type of lockouts and interface ability so that's why we went with it. It has the individual wrapped strips which I do like.
Let me know if you need more info.

We use the Abbott Freestyle, works well for us.
We have used the StatSite from EKF Diagnostics (formerly Stanbio) for several years now. Works well enough and compares pretty good to their liquid reagent which we run on Beckman AU5800 analyzer in the main lab. Only issue we have had is performing linearity assessment which is not necessarily required, but we choose to do it with each new meter. We are also considering looking at the Lucid Plus meter from Vidan Diagnostics.
Bryan, do you know if the Lucid Plus meter has interface capabilities?
Thanks!
