Waived INR Meter w/ Connectivity

Hey POC Do-Gooders,

Looking for a POC INR device that is FDA waived and has the ability to be interfaced to the LIS. I am only aware of the CoagSense. Does anyone know of anything else? I don't think Coagucheck can be interfaced, but I may be wrong.

Thank you,

The Coaguchek XS Plus is able to be interfaced. We have ours interfaced to Telcor. The XS model is not able to be interfaced.

The Coaguchek Plus is wavied and interfacable.  The Coaguchek Pro is moderate complexity.

We use the XS Pro.  It interfaces and we chose this over the traditional XS Plus because you can scan barcodes.  The problem is that it is non-waived.  The staff have difficulty using it because the scanner is on the side and that is usually where there hand is.

Without the scanner, what is the compliance like with manually entering the patients' ID numbers?  Without the number being exact (ours are 10 digits), it won't get through to the EMR.  We have a pretty active Anticoag Clinic, so I'm torn with the pluses and minuses of the 2 meters.
