ABL90 validation

We are in the process of validating our new ABL90 blood gas analyzers. Our issue is that for the oximetry tests we currently do not have a method of comparison to evaluate. Does anyone know of commercially available materials for oximetry comparison?

Thanks.

Method comparison is not a requirement.  Most use it as a mean to prove accuracy.  You can prove accuracy by running known samples.  You can purchased previously tested proficiency testing samples, SO, from CAP and compare your results to the peer group.  You can also run Radiometer's VK (linearity kit) and external QC and compare your results to the means.  additionally, you can also compare your Total Hemoglobin to the Hematology analyzer.

RNA medical has an CO-Oximetry calibration verification kit.
