There is a molecular PCR syndromic panel that is available through BioFire Diagnostics that has received an EUA in early November. It is authorized to be used in a CLIA waived setting with a 45 minute turn around time with a sensitivity of 97.1% & specificity of 99.6%. It looks at 19 pathogens included COVID 19 and 4 bacterial.
