epoc with RALS

Good afternoon!! I am looking for a little help or guidance. My facility and division as a whole are in the process of switching to Siemens epoc for our blood gas POCT. We currently use iSTAT. We have been told that epoc does not have STAT Notes like the iSTAT and thus the information does not automatically cross over to our LIS. RT would either have to go in RALS and enter the results manually. Is anyone familiar with this situation or what middleware do you use with your epoc analyzers?

We use the EPOC with RALS and the notes are entered into the EPOC and then cross through RALS into the LIS. I am not quite sure what notes you are entering,
but we enter the vent settings, sample type, FiO2, etc. in the EPOC.

We are also long-time iSTAT users, and interface to our LIS using Telcor QML. We are in the process of adding a few epoc analyzers. Have the Siemens folks told you about epoc Accelerator? That's the middleware.
The device management software from Siemens for Epoc is actually called POCCellerator.
