Pleural Fluid pH

POCT group,
I currently run pleural fluid pH on my Siemens RP500 devices and I am running into some logistic issues with collection and stability (since the people testing will be respiratory therapists outside of the lab).
Does anyone have literature they can cite on how stable this fluid is in a glass vacutainer? I am following stability from Siemens, same as blood gas at 30 minutes and it is a challenge).
