iSTAT and Electrolyte Replacement Protocol

Hello all,
My organization is currently having discussions on whether or not POCT results from our CG8 and CHEM8 cartridges are appropriate to base protocol orders on. Do your organizations allow for both in lab results and POCT results on their electrolyte replacement protocols or do they strictly require in lab results?
