Hi all,
Has anyone had a CAP inspection in the last month or so? I wanted to know if the inspecting team gave you advance notice of when they were coming and if so how much notice?

We were told they would let us know about 3 weeks out…and would not be doing tracers. And less inspectors…

The CAP inspections are still on, with inspection teams communicating with leaders at the site prior to the visit. It won't be typical unannounced visit, the dates should be agreed upon ahead of time. I'm working on an external inspection and we have organized it so that we will do as much virtually as possible (introductions, document review, summation) and will limit the inspection time onsite.
I inspected one last month. We asked them if they would like to postpone it, but they chose to be inspected. We contacted them about a month prior. The only restriction was that I could not visit the floor. Interviews with the RNs had to be done by phone.
Our window opened at the end of June and the inspection team called us and told us they would not be coming right now, since our positive cases are increasing in the area. They will check with us again in August.
Our CAP inspection window was March 19 - June 19. We got inspected July 10th. Our lab leadership contacted them and agreed on what date is good for everybody.
