Inform II batteries

Has anyone using the Roche Inform II noticed issues with the batteries swelling and causing problems with charging? We are seeing this; not sure if it is older batteries or some other issue.

Yes, we call Roche to replace the batteries. They ask general TS questions then once they've determined the problem is the actual battery they ask for serial number of the battery itself and send new ones.

Kathleen- i used to have that problems with the old version, serial number starting with: UU13...., but ever since they've given out the new version meters: UU14....batteries are good.

Thanks to everyone who has given feedback. It does appear that it is aging batteries that are causing issues, and we are also considering updating our meters to the latest firmware. That firmware should address battery and charging issues.
