POCT Disaster Planning
During this Covid-19 pandemic, we have not seen "business as usual". Many things have had to change, and that includes within Point of Care. I invite all of my colleagues to read about TriCore's experience, and then join in the conversation on the listserv to share your own observations. We all benefit when we learn from each other.
After reading, please consider the questions below.
Here are some questions to start a conversation:
1. How has POCT been brought into the conversation in your organization?
2. How did you educate yourselves (e.g. about emergency use authorization (EUA)? How did that play into decisions made?
3. How are you addressing training and competency?
4. What are you doing about managing expired controls?
5. What has been your biggest takeaway from this whole experience?
That should be plenty to get us started. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to sharing a rich and lively discussion.
Kathleen

I was planning on listening, but I may be on vacation when it's scheduled. Will the session be recorded (like a Whitehat webinar) so we can listen later?
