New POCT Listserv platform

Hi All! Just a quick update from your POCT Listserv Manager...
You may have noticed a drop-off of activity and may have had difficulty submitting new posts. Groupsite, the service we use to host the POCT Listserv rolled out a new platform last week.
The new platform has a bunch of new and cool features, including being able to 'unfollow' discussion topics that are not of interest. For example, you will be able to follow/unfollow posts in specific categories (e.g., Vendor Forum).
However, Groupsite had an issue when migrating our group onto the new platform. They have been working on it for several days and anticipate having us up and running by tomorrow morning.
Thanks for your patience and I'll keep you posted! --Bill

You may have noticed a drop-off of activity and may have had difficulty submitting new posts. Groupsite, the service we use to host the POCT Listserv recently rolled out a new platform. However, Groupsite had issues when migrating our group onto the new platform. They have been working on it behind the scenes and believe we are back up and running.
The new platform has a bunch of new and cool features, including being able to 'unfollow' discussion topics that are not of interest. For example, you will be able to follow/unfollow posts in specific categories (e.g., Vendor Forum).
This post is also a test of the new platform. Hopefully you received this ok and the problems have been resolved. Please let me know if you have any problems going forward.
Thanks for your patience! --Bill
My worry is that I will give up agreeing to spend the time to 'get in' to reply.
But I wanted folks to know it's not them/what they are doing that is causing our collective befuddlement!
Thanks Peggy!
I'm so sorry that the new Groupsite platform is causing such hassles! I continue to work with them on a daily basis to get everything resolved. Clearly older browser versions and Internet Explorer seem to be having difficulties when making posts. Chrome seems to be working the best.
Earlier in the troubleshooting process, I had Groupsite do a back-door 'fix' to subscribe ALL members for ALL of the current discussion posts. So everyone should be automatically following updates to any of the past discussion posts.
As I understand it, going forward, all members will receive only the FIRST post of any new discussion topic, and then you can then elect to follow that topic or not. This should save you time reading and deleting posts from topics that are not of interest to you and should reduce inbox clutter.
You can always reach out to me directly by selecting the 'email the manager' button on the home page.
I really appreciate all the feedback... and your patience... as we get things fine tuned.
Thanks again,
Bill
If you are having issues, try using Safari or Chrome and in most cases the problem will go away.
If you continue to have problems, or have other suggestions, don't hesitate to reach out to me.
