Intraoperative PTH

Our director has asked us about the availability of POCT platforms for intraoperative PTH (IO-PTH).  None of our current platforms offer it.  We would appreciate any information anyone can provide regarding IO-PTH platforms in use at your facility, their pros and cons, who performs the testing, etc.

Thank you in advance for any help and insight you can give!

We use the Future Diagnostics intra-operative test.  The instrument is kept in an area outside of the surgical suite, with a tech running it.  Results are completed within 10 minutes.  This has been a big cost saver for the hospital as the patient is not in the room as long as when we did the test in the lab.  There are some handheld devices being developed, but not FDA approved yet. We perform 10-15 cases/week.
