Orientation for New Staff on POCT program

Do any of you have a presentation that you go through with new staff on the POCT program at your organization.
I have one that I go over with new staff (high level overview) on one of their orientation days and I update it ever year. I was wondering if others so this too what is in your presentation?

In mine I have:
Our clinical educators perform New Employee Orientations and I work with them to ensure there is a brief talk about POC testing in the hospital and who to contact regarding it (me). As I identified issues in my first five years as POCC, I asked the educators to add certain talking points to help address common issues I was running into. In ED and our OR/Cardiac Surg we also have clinical educators that perform new employee training. They will train new employees on the POC tests specific to that department (or I will if they are unavailable). We have New Employee Orientations on a regular basis; the turnover in a hospital makes it difficult to meet all new staff.
The educators performing NEO also train new staff on our glucometers and complete that competency paperwork so that I can add them to the glucometer system right away.
My own personal encouragement would be to become besties with your clinical educators because they are usually great at what they do and also usually eager to teach POCT within their wheelhouse; I have an amazing rapport with our educators. They feel unappreciated and their work is so similar to ours in many respects. Working closely with them has benefited our POC program exponentially over the last five years; this was a vastly underutilized staff resource before I became POCC.
As much as I'd like to meet all the new people and even train all the new people... it just isn't realistic in my program, anyway. You may have more POC staff to support you, which would be great. Also, looking over your outline, I'm wondering if all those points are necessary for floor staff? I've found that the more I put out there at once, the less staff retain. Especially with new people; they have so much coming at them that they can only hold on to the most important things pertinent to their job.
