Connectivity for the redesigned "new" Urisys1100 urine dipstick analyzer

The Urisys1100 has been given a "facelift" and kept the same name. We currently have a few "old" Urisys1100 models connected with a serial cable to a Lantronix box to TELCOR QML to Epic. I would greatly appreciate your help with any of these questions:
- Are you replacing all of your "old" models with "new" Urisys1100 models?
- Is the "new" model different enough that you had to re-train staff per CAP guidelines?
- Has anyone been able to successfully connect the "new" model to your LIS?
- What model Lantronix box did you use?
- Can you simply connect the instrument with an ethernet cable to your network without a Lantronix?
