Magnets for capillary tube mixing bars/fleas
Hi everyone,
We are looking to start using magnetic mixing bars/fleas for our capillary POC blood gas samples and I'm wondering how everyone manages the magnets. Do they get reused? I'd like the staff to mix immediately after collection so they would need the magnet at the bedside. The magnets that I bought to trial the process are almost $3 each so it doesn't seem cost effective to use one per sample, but I also worry about infection prevention. How do you...
