Said: If you have verified istat against ABL 90 and verification was excellent then it is easy for you to transfer the reference range from another instrument. Please check CLSI guidelines for transference of reference range.

Istat cord ABG

I am in the process of validating the ref range for Cord ABG and VBG. ABBOTT IFU GIVES ME REFERENCE RANGES FOR ABG ART AND VENOUS only. My question is we don't get enough Cord samples to validate this so I am using reference ranges from my ABL 90. Can I do this. Thank you for your input.
