GEM to Sunquest Direct

Do other institutions have their GEMs auto file to Sunquest without Telcor/RALS? If so, do you have GEM send over pH values or the pH temperature corrected values? Is there a benefit of doing temperature corrected? We are having issues with the pH(t) values auto filing into the charts when there is < or > value attached since it can't do the calculation for the temperature correction. Has anyone found a way around this?

BD Urinalysis Tubes and Clinitek Instrument

Can you use the BD Vacutainer® urinalysis preservative tube with the Clinitek and multistix 10SG strips? This has recently come up and I am on my way to a meeting but I have usually used the KOVA tubes and not these tubes.

Precision Dx multi panel urine drug testing point of care

I have a clinic that is joint commission accredited and they are doing the Precision Dx multi panel drug testing on urine. I am just now being told and I am working on a policy, training and so forth however, my question is do these type of point of care kits due to being waived need to have external QC. The information I am seeing doesn't mention however, I want to make sure with others that are more knowledgeable than me. Thank you for any help guidance or assistance....
