Radiometer recall
How many of you have Radiometer ABL90 analyzers in your departments as point of care instruments, particularly the NICU? I received the recall today stating that ctBil and FHbF are no longer FDA cleared for any sample type, and that the oximetry and pO2 are no longer valid for capillary sample types. The NICU at our facility uses the ABL90 for monitoring of their neonates nearly as often as our ED uses theirs. This change requires immediate action and therefore I will have to remove the ...

TEG6s Interface
Hello - we currently have a TEG6s but it is not interfaced therefore...patient reports don't always make it to the chart. We have one unit that is housed in the OR to be run by perfusion during heart cases or RN during a Trauma. We use EPIC/Telcor.
Those of you with this device - do you have it interfaced or not? If it is not interfaced, who puts in the results? How does the ordering look? If it is interfaced, how big of a project/time commitment was it?
Thank y...
