Hello, I was just wondering how other facilities are handling nursing student access to the StatStrip meters. They are not employees of our facility. If you do have training and competencies on file how are different CLIA sites handled. They want to do just one training and competency even though different CLIA sites have different requirements. Said: If you check the chart, it has "Qualify as listed above", which states that high school diploma, with appropriate testing. That would include your nursing personnel. They've called our respiratory folks separately for some reason.
