Abbott I-Stat Specimen Change

Hi I-Stat users:
Since Abbott is no longer recommending the use of Sodium Heparin tubes to collect specimens for cartridges containing Sodium i.e. Chem 8 cartridges, is anyone re-validating and re-correlating with Lithium Heparin tubes if you used Sodium Heparin tubes in the past. Not following manufacturer's directions for the Chem 8 will make the test non-waived. Abbott does not have an answer as of yet.
Thanks for your help,
