Aloha all,
Does anyone have an IT validation policy that they are willing to share. This is address TJC requiremen: IM.02.02.05 EP1-3
1. The lab written policies & procedures that define validation criteria for assessing funcitonality in all environments of the LIS that includes: data capture, data display, data transmission, data retention.
2. The lab validates the LIS performance upon installation. The validation activities are documented.
3. the lab has written P&P to verify LIS and middleware functions after the following: modification of hardware, installationg of new software, following restoration of dta files. The verification are documented.

Doing an audit of 1 week every month. We go into the chart and make sure they documented it. We have a template that has the required information on it.
