Recertification Message from RALS to operator
Hi all,
I'm in the glucose recertification process of 1400 operators and am wondering if RALS can have a message pop up on the Roche Inform II when an operator signs in that says you have so many days left, or something that tells them they expire on 5/15/19?
I've searched and what I keep getting is the auto recertify. I can't do that as the LMS isn't linked. So I have to manually make sure that they completed the LMS module and then go verify they have run controls before I update them.
I am down to the last 100, and would love an automatic reminder to them.
Knowing my luck it is possible in a version of the software I am not up to yet..
We are starting a RALS project next month, so I will bring it up there too. We will be updating the software so I am not 13 updates behind..

You have to be on at least RALS version 5.15. On the recertification tab at the bottom, you can send a certification expiration message. I have it set so 30 days before they expire, they get a message that their certification is about to expire. They have to do a module in My Learning, and then run a control once a year. They are not linked, but I have RALS set up to lock them out if they have not ran a control in 365 days. Their managers track the My Learning module
Thanks! That is what I figured, and I even just received a phone call from RALS.
Next year will run a bit smoother!

Tonya,
It's always a good thing to put in a call to RALS and let someone look up your version and give suggestions based on the version you are using. In our case, if we have an unresolved issue, it's on us, our end. Not on the RALS customer service end.
RALS Advisory Board is another avenue of expertise/end users willing to talk to you (I'm not on it but I know past and present Advisory POCCs and they don't mind helping you troubleshoot solutions).
I agree with you - the hold ups we encounter is due to not having the latest version available. Hopefully you are right and next year will go smoother for you!
