Monthly POC reports for clinical areas

Following the POCC predecessor's policy, I spend many days each month preparing reports for each unit who performs POC testing in four different facilities. I find that most of the nursing managers do not review the reports. How do other facilities communicate POC statistics?

I have a Monthly QA Report that I send to the Lab Director and even she admitted that she doesn't read most of my emails.
They need us, but don't care about us until something goes wrong or something important needs to be completed.
I too do these reports and feel the same way, the saving grace is that by doing them and sending them to the different areas, I have documentation as to what is going on and the lack of compliance from certain areas.

I do not provide any statistics to my departments either.
I compile stats on our glucose meter usage (patient ID entry errors, user ID errors, EMR resulting reports ect). I do these to prove we need connectivity between our meters and our EMR and to follow up with RN managers/clinical educators when I see error trends. I monitor QC reports to and only report out if there are issues.
I have slowly eliminated much of the reports that were being done. Some of it was QI projects that were tracked for years - we've been hitting our goal for so long that it felt pointless. Once you get to know your departments and program, you'll see the issues on a daily basis that need to be dealt with.
The only places I still send reports to is my COLA locations because COLA still likes to see paper!
