POC coordinators that oversee EMT testing

Hello,
Do any POC coordinators out there oversee EMT testing in ambulances? Specifically glucometer testing. What is the process for unregistered patient identification? Do the results post to an EMR? Does the lab POC maintain compliance oversight, or is the state inspection/regulatory body enough while on the road. Do they have their own CLIA license for testing, or fall under the main lab?

Our AccuChek's download wireless on the road to our EMR and they stay on the flag page . The secretary of our Pediflight will register them when she comes in. Then we can upload. We maintain all of their compliance and they are under the hospital's CLIA.
We oversee POCT in our hospital transport units. The transport team utilizes a unique id number for each patient. Upon arrival to the hospital, the glucometer (Nova) is upload and the id number is then coupled with an actual MRN. This information is sent to us automatically. Once we have the 2 identifiers, we update the number in our midware (Telcor)to allow the result to enter into the EMR.
We have Transport under our CLIA and our process is the same as Debs.
