We use Cornerstone. It is very easy to use. If you have any questions about it, I would be happy to answer them.
We have used Netlearning, but we are currently using Elsevier. Anything specifically that you are interested in knowing?
I know our hospital uses the learning mng software for annual education modules, initial training skills videos and I would love for it to make tracking POC annual education easier. How do you use it for POC?
I build the POC modules in the Elsevier system and assign the learners. Please call me if you have any questions 252-634-6587.
Thanks,
Jennifer
I assign all my quizzes and procedure reviews through Cornerstone. You also have the ability to use observation checklists if you have the performance module.
Everything is in Healthstream
Hi Cindy,
I don't recall seeing a reference to Cornerstone before on any of the listserves. Thanks for mentioning it. Does your nursing dept use this for their competencies/CBO tools and laddering up paperwork, licenses mantenance? Or is this management system used in the clinical lab?
Thanks!
Peggy
Hi Peggy,
Cornerstone is what our network uses for both performance and learning management. I'm not sure if our nursing department uses it to track competencies, but I know that they use it to assign education to staff. I've reached out to them to see how they are using the system. I know they just recently started using it to track BLS certifications. I am actually the only person in the lab that uses it for creating assignments such as procedure reviews and quizzes. When anything that is assigned with a specific due date is not completed, an email is sent to the individual and their leader. I feel like it helps hold staff more accountable.
We also use Pathways which is a version of the cornerstone e-learning system. It captures all staff competency assignments and transcripts. I build the modules and edit via nursing collaboration and then we publish in pathways (Cornerstone). We also use Telcor which captures the device activities for the nursing operators.
