EUA authorization and ABBOTT COW( waiver) can Medical assistant test the collection, using ID NOW.

Yes, once they are sign-off on the machine. The Abbott IDNow is a waived test.
Yes, I agree that Medical Assistants who are high school graduates or equivalents are allowed per CLIA to perform testing on the ID Nows waived tests. Since you mention EUA we'll assume you mean the COVID reagent. Our MAs are also the collectors for the PCR viral covid testing so they are well-versed on the proper PPE.
