Would anyone be willing to share what steps they took to add a new cartridge to existing ISTAT IQCP?
We are going to add the ACTk cartridge. Did you run QC for 30 days? Who ran the QC POC or the unit?

We performed the risk assessment for that cartridge and dept.
Implement an IQCP for that cartridge with QC being performed weekly by the floor staff (rotated)
After ~2 months of successful QC we updated the IQCP to 1 month QC frequency.
After ~6 months of successful QC we updated the IQCP to 60 days QC frequency and rolled it into the larger IQCP with the other iSTAT cartridges.
