Covid testing Using ID NOW

Has anyone experienced or know if there are many false positives with the Covid ID NOW testing ? I know the false negative rate can be high if the patient is not symptomatic.

Grain of salt as we are almost exclusively testing symptomatic patients, but we have had very few positives (we are not verifying pos with send out PCR at this time). The only asymptomatic patients we are testing with the ID NOW are for pre-procedure when their PCR results don't come back in time - they are tested day of procedure. So far none of them have been positive.

We had a patient that tested positive on the ID NOW and tested negative from the lab side. PCR, much more sensitive. That what was I was referring to.

Had the same thing with an employee that tested positive. Had double swabbed as I was doing some comparitive testing. PCR was negative on two different methods

Wondering if anyone is doing any type of wipe testing with the ID NOW. It was brought to my attention that we may need to do it?
