Connectivity Drops with Abbott ID Now and Telcor

We are experiencing intermittent connection issues with the Abbott ID Now to Telcor. We keep seeing Test Connection Failed under the connectivity menu. Intermittently... We travel from Abbott ID Now to Telcor to SunQuest to EPIC with solicited orders. What does anyone know about network cards?
Does anyone have any suggestions??
