Eye (lacrimal fluid) pH procedure

Does anyone have a procedure for testing lacrimal fluid pH they would be willing to share, either in Files or emailed to me? Also, who performs the test/reads the pH paper? (I recently had a chemical eye splash and found out our ophthalmology dept does this test, but I don't think they are doing it the right way and there is no official procedure anywhere...)
Thank you,
Jill
