Are there any hospitals who have an access of Abbott Alere ID NOW RSV kits that my hospital can purchase? We've seen a dramatic RSV testing increase in our region, and some of my clinics are getting hit hard. There is a current backorder on RSV kits until early October.

I sincerely WISH we had enough for our Pedi testing sites so I could offer to you!
We have been struggling for months getting RSV, strep and flu kits. Manufacturer says stock is there; distributor is not getting to us adequately.

Thank you for replying. I ordered in bulk for the year, and we would have been ok except we weren't expecting such an increase in RSV testing. I hate to switch to an Antigen POC method.

I am in the middle of transitioning from Alere ID Now to Cepheid Xpress at all our clinic locations. Estimated go live of Oct 12. Sounds like you might have stock in by then, but I'll check in with you after that date and you can have anything I have left over!

Thank you Mary. It was a thought to switch all my clinics over to the Cepheid Xpert Xpress, but that just isn't doable right now for us; otherwise, I would like to do that also.
