GFR serum verses whole blood

Hello!
Do any of you use the iSTAT Creatinine cartridge in your Radiology department? If so, is the GFR calculated the same with whole blood as it is serum? Or is there a different calculation that is required? Thank you for your help!

The GFR calculation is the same for either type of sample.

Do you know of an accredited website that states that by chance? Most of what I can find just states serum creatinine. I just would like to have it in writing somewhere.
