If you get any can you share?  thanks!

Yes, I implemented a Piccolo for my urgent care using the CMP waived cartridges and validated for whole blood green top lithium heparin tubes. I use liquid controls BRT Chemistry Control Liquid assays by Abaxis the Piccolo manufacturer that is part of Abbott. The package insert of the controls says Product Number 100-9010.
For validation, I ran both normal and abnormal controls each day for 10 days then I did a 100 patient method comparison of all analytes to the Vista chemistry analyzer. I then input these into EP evaluator for linear regression analysis. My medical director requires the 100 patient comparisons, CLIA only requires about 30.
Let me know if you want copies of the QC package insert, my SOP etc. I'm happy to help. Jacob.Fray@dhha.org

Hi Jake,
If the Piccolo is a waived, what implementation studies are required?  Precision, linearity and method comparison?  Can you send me your SOP?  My email is Jstewart3@ dh.org.  Thanks,
