Chembio (InBios) Detect Covid Rapid Antigen Test

Hi Fellow POCT Coordinators,

Curious to know if other facilities have implemented the Covid-19 rapid antigen by InBios - aka Chembio Detect (SCoV-2 Ag Detect Rapid Test) . Any feedback as to workflow, sensitivity, supply constraints, etc. would be appreciated.

Hello Mary - I was a POCT/Lab Manager for the University of Chicago - I currently work for HenrySchein as a POC specialist we are a distribution company, and we sell Chembio for Covid-19. The workflow is easy -I was able to see a DEMO from the company. The sensitivity is 93.9% and specificity is 100% - I just received an email today they have no supply issues, and the test can detect the Omicron Virus.
I'm not sure who your distribution partner is, but if you have any questions, please let me know
