i-STAT code 32

I've seen an explosion of i-STAT code 32 with CG8+ cartridges in the last 2 weeks. I have tried to call Abbott tech support for the last couple of days and have only been able to reach an answering service. Is anyone else seeing this issue?

We saw some code 32 on linearity samples last month but no patient results.

Has Abbott called back yet? i'm also having trouble getting a call back from tech support.

Jill- They called me back yesterday after I had already left. In the voicemail they said they open at 8am eastern and are best staffed before lunch. I was able to connect with someone this morning!

Colleen - what lot number are you seeing this issue on? We are starting to see an uptick.

HI Kristie,
We were having issues with W21324. In the last week, we had a nearly 20% quality code rate for all cartridges with this lot number, mostly code 32. I just put the new lot into use today, here's hoping it helps!
