Has anyone received anything official from Abbott about the Chem8 allocation/issue?

Happy Monday all!...
There is a 3-6 week back up due to some plastic issue or production or something with the Chem8 and I wasn't sure if anyone had received or seen any official notices from Abbott.  We were supposed to get 1500 in our standing order last week but we did not and this is the reason why.  You can tell it's the beginning of the year, I see a pattern...

Our rep has stated that the issue may not be resolved until possibly February and is trying to get us to switch to a different cartridge for the time being.

yeah 3-6 weeks translates into ...what was last years timeline....4-5 months?

I also heard from our rep last Friday. He did state that Abbott did try to substitute a different plastic but with a poor outcome. On the up side, at least we can now use CG8 for iCa testing again. I agree, there does seem to be a pattern emerging.

I am glad I am retiring soon ( April 1st).  I think Abbott has had so many problems with their cartridges. We ordered some Chem8+ but has not come.  I learned to order supplies and allow a 3-4 week buffer just in case there is a delay.
