Do any of you use the NicChek I test? If so, how did you implement an Alternative Performance Assessment?

Hi Ashlee,
I still have one testing site (Plastics) saying they 'need' to be able to perform NicChek but in 2 years haven't used it related to supply chain issues. However, a year ago I passed to a lab-side POCC a Plastics clinic using NicCheck for many years. That lab-side POCC also would have 'pre' surgery NicCheck use to over see.
I haven't seen a package insert in at least two years but do not recall an 'Alternative Performance Assessment'. Would you explain this?

I was looking to standard COM.01500. We don't do PT on NicChek I so I was trying to determine how to satisfy this requirement because it says for waived and non-waived testing both. Thoughts?

Thanks for explaining. We have TJC survey waived testing so don't set up PT for NicCheck.

Sorry yes I should have specified this is a CAP standard I am looking at.
