Saliva for Ethanol Detection in ED?

Is anyone using a waived saliva test for ethanol detection? If so, what product are you using? If you have investigated this already and did not move forward please let me know why.

We tried it at our Free Standing ER when it opened and the nurses did not like it. It required the patient to rinse their mouth first which did not work out for non-cooperative patients.
