Does anyone have a document or guidelines for their ambulatory sites on where they can have a POC Testing Area?

Thanks!

No our program POC Director hadn’t created or approved a document stating guidelines to use.

I basically review needs, assess with nursing site management (needs), workflow. I support Epidemiology/Infection Control and Environmental Of Care regs - I do case by case basis using experience — then I tweek as shared space evolves and changes.

We don't have a specific document, but in our request form we do state that they need to have a space that would be appropriate ("dirty" area) as well as electrical and IT needs. We also look at need for refrigerator for reagent and/or QC storage, as well as a need to monitor room temp, fridge/freezer temp, and possibly humidity.
