Lock Boxes for patent samples

I have a question for anyone who has ambulatory clinics. Do you have lockboxes outside your clinics for samples to be picked up afterhours by a courier? Are they bolted so that they cannot be taken? Is this mandatory?  Ours lock but we recently had one stolen and I now can see that this could be a major issue samples were in the box.
