Nova StatSTrip flow errors

Yes, this is the MOST common error with the operators of the StatStrip. It occurs when the test strip is not slid all the way in and they add a sample. We have an average of 60-100 per day.......for the past several years.

We just put this lot number into use at the end of last month. For the data we have, our error rates are less than 5% at all of our institutions. While we do not have the acceptable error rate in writing from the manufacturer, we did perform weekly studies with our users. Upon implementation, Nova verbally gave us a 10% acceptable error rate.
