Blood Gases for Breathing Institute Clinics

Do any of you currently utilize blood gas testing for clinics, particularly for pulmonary/breathing institute? If so, can you tell me if you're at an adult or pediatric institution, what device(s) you use, what kind of volumes you see, and any issues with testing operators or maintenance of instrumentation? Thank you so much in advance! If you prefer, you can email me at kristie.kutin@childrenscolorado.org.

I know of 2 outpatient settings within our system that offer blood gas/metabolites/coox on a Radiometer ABL90 Flex Plus - one is a black lung clinic and the other a surgical clinic.  Very low volume at both, but the setup works well, being a cartridge system analyzer, with virtually no/very little maintenance beyond changing the sensor cassette and solution pack q30days.
