PBB 340b and waived testing in clinics

Our physician clinics are transitioning to Provider based billing 340b program. Currently they follow CLIA regulations only but with this change will become TJC accrediated. I am not getting very clear information from our consulting company regarding how this transition to 340b impacts the PPM and waived testing performed in the clinics. For waived testing, will the clinics need to start following the competency requirements in the TJC waived chapter? Initial training with 2 elements of competency; Annually 2 elements of competency.

Thanks in advance for your help.

All of our waived testing- hospital and clinics/ambulatories and grant- funded clinics have always been TJC inspected using WT Chapter.
I don’t know anything about the billing you refer to or our billing basis but I never heard anything about changes in surveys based on billing.
