Rapid Response Diagnostic Saliva Drug Test kit

Good morning, we have been asked to implement waived saliva drug screen testing to be used on a Mobile Health Clinic. There are no external quality controls available from the vendor nor proficiency specimens available for this type of testing. Does anyone have any suggestions on what material to use to validate this product other than team members (which hopefully would all be negative!!)? Thanks, Liz

We use the QED Saliva Alcohol kit, and we order a positive QC separately. We then use water for the negative. The pos QC is ordered through OraSure Technologies INC.
