Establishing Patient Reference Ranges?

Good morning,

Does anyone have any tips or resources that may be helpful to me for establishing my laboratory's own patient reference range?

I'm working on implementing Triage Troponin I testing (using the Triage Cardiac Panel Test Device on the MeterPro and MeterPlus ) at our freestanding ED, in light of the Abbott ID Now Troponon I FDA clearance debacle.

According to the package insert, "Each laboratory should establish a reference range that is representative of the patient population to be evaluated. Additionally, each laboratory should consider the current practice in the evaluation of patients experiencing chest pain and AMI at their respective institution."

Thank you for any help you can provide!
